This topic is hard for me to narrow down to give more of an answer than, well… everything. I am constantly on the lookout for inspiration and new ideas. I am constantly exploring the outdoors and that is always a great source of inspiration. I have been an outdoor person all my life and it can be seen in a lot of my work such as these:
I love to just go for a walk and see what I can find to inspire me. I am always looking for new shapes and forms to incorporate and love to find it in unexpected places. For example the curve in a lamp post, the shape of a fountain, all of these things have found their way into pieces of jewelry I have made.
I am of the belief that inspiration can be found everywhere, you just have to leave yourself open to see it.

So true! The whole world is full of inspiring things – the trick, I think, is taking the time to notice. When I get focused on the “gotta do’s” too much, I tend to miss things. Keeping my eyes really open is the hard part, but worthwhile!
Oh totally. I have to constantly remind myself to just take it all in. It is like sometimes on your way home from work you realize that you are home, and don’t remember the actual drive. Live in the moment right 🙂
Do you also look at the ground all the time? I know I do! 🙂 Love your post!
Haha, yes! As a kid I was always finding fun stuff like money… now if only that still happened to me!
Absolutely! And I love the little leafy set of earrings and pendant… why have I not noticed that before…just so pretty!
I was especially taken with you finding inspiration in man made things when you are outdoors.
