Describe your 5 senses. Which are your favorites and least favorites?
I think the most obvious favorite for me is sight. I am so inspired by the things I see around me, not to mention that I would not be able to use a torch if I was not able to see. Color is a big part of my life and can really affect my mood. My boyfriend is always making fun of me because I want to paint furniture, walls, and doors in his opinion “crazy” colors. My second favorite would have to be touch. I love working with my hands and I like to use textures in my work. I am always looking for new techniques and tools to create new and interesting textures. My least favorite would probably be my sense of smell. I don’t know why, but I just have a poor sense of smell. Sometimes it is not such a bad thing 😉
I feel so fortunate to have all five senses available to me. As a visual artist I rely on sight and touch the most and don’t know what I would do without them.
