Favorite Recipes – Etsy Metal Blog Carnival

Anyone who knows me knows that I can’t cook anything without a very specific recipe. I don’t know what it is about the culinary arts but their skills are beyond this metalsmith’s abilities. So this is why I decided to share a recipe given to me by my Grandmother. One Christmas she gave each grandchild a little family recipe book, filled with recipes that she had made since we were little. I love this little book so much.  I hope you decide to try it out!

  2. Sift together 1 1/2 cups flour – 1 tsp salt and add to creamed mixture.
  3. Dissolve 1 tsp soda in 2 tsp hot water and add to mix
  4. Stir in 3 cups quick oatmeal – 1 tsp vanilla – 1 cup chopped nuts
  5. Drop from a teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet
