Welcome and please excuse the dust!

Hi! Welcome to the new website. Well, now you know what I have been up to lately. Immersing myself in code and html and all that lovely stuff. Now that this end is mostly tied up, I am excited to get back to my bench to make some more metal goodness to share with you all. Above is a necklace set I am currently working on. The silver is imprinted lightly with a bark texture and personalized with an initial. I made the J one for myself and have been wearing it a lot lately. We are Moving!

In the next few weeks I will be moving my site from its current format to a new one. So please bear with me. It is time for spring and all things new and fresh, so the site will be getting a much needed face lift and I am hoping that I can get the blog transferred over to it’s new format. Hope everyone is having a great day! Wish me luck. I will need it 😉

My Beginnings in Enameling Copper Jewelry

I have had supplies to try enamels since December but have been a little bit chicken to try them. Well, I finally did and it was really fun. I didn't try anything too fancy, just trying to get the hang of it at first. I am really excited to do more of this. There are so many colors, techniques and designs that you can accomplish with enamels. In the photo with the enameled pieces (sorry not the best photo) I used a blue, red, black and turquoise. Tunes to boost the creative flow

New Puppies!

Aren’t they just the cutest things! My mom’s yorkie had three little pups last weekend and they were just too cute not to share. They are so tiny and so far take after their dad (a miniture poodle) being all black.  The mom is doing a great job and barely leaves their side. Too cute!

Waiting For Spring

This is what it looked like outside my window last Friday. I am hoping that we don't get a repeat this weekend. I am so ready for spring. I have big plans this summer and I need some warmer weather to get it started. I want to plant a garden, I want to hang may hammock in my tree, I want to set up the tiki torches and patio furniture and sit with a mojito in the sun, watching the dogs chase each other around the yard. Now only if the weather will cooperate!

Ring a Week #10

Just got back in town from visiting my family, and here is my Ring a week for last week! I tried something new with this ring and raised the stone so the bezel appears taller. I really love how this ring looks on. It will be in my Etsy shop soon! Hope everyone had a great weekend!!
