Not all those who wander – Handmade Blue Chacedony Necklace
This piece was designed for a monthly challenge held by the Aspiring Metalsmiths Etsy Team. I sat down with my sketchbook and decided to design a piece for a handmade glass cabochon I recently purchased. After finalizing the design I scanned it to my computer and traced it with Adobe Illustrator. I printed the template and glued it to a sheet of sterling silver and set to work with my saw. New Work – Black Rose Pendant
It is Wednesday again, and that means I get to tell you a little bit about one of my pieces. This pear shaped pendant is my newest creation. The stone on this piece is called Rainbow Obsidian, and is very hard to photograph. The stone looks black in the shade, but in the light this stone shows its true colors.
