Recently I purchased this print from Roll and Tumble Press on Etsy and I absolutely LOVE it!! It has become a family joke that my boyfriend and I have not yet tied the knot. My grandparents have given up and just call him my husband, so when I saw this print I had to have it. It is currently occupying my kitchen wall above my table. Grandma, Hows it look? 🙂

New designs and a trip to the gem store!
I have been so excited to post these new photos of pendants I recently finished. Holiday sales have been more than I could have ever hoped for. Thank you to everyone that has supported the handmade community this holliday! I just added a new section to the site which is a photo gallery I am going to be adding all my new items to. So keep checking for updates. I am going to be working hard the next few days to get some of the ideas that have been floating around in my head out into the clay and […]more
Weekly Favorite – Isabells Umbrella
This year I have vowed to be a good girl and get my holliday shopping done before the very last second. I had heard of a new shop right near my house that has just opened up and sells handmade items from various artists each week. (If you are in the Utah Valley area you should definately check it out. It is called Patina in Pleasant Grove and you can find out more about it here.) In this adorable little store I was immediately drawn to a display full of lovely little stationary items. The intention was to find a […]more

Still experiencing holliday hangover…
You know that feeling you get after holiday break? Like you can't move and all you want to do is sleep? That is how I still feel. But I am ready to get back to the grindstone and resume the regular blogging / jewelry making schedule. I have a few pieces I need to photograph and some that I need to give a patina, but the next batch should be done within the week. Now I just need to find a good jewelry stand to display them. Fun Abella Blue Sighting. I was at the mall and saw a lady […]more
Please Pardon My Absence – and a Quick update
Tooth Fairy by amyjoshandmade on EtsyI have not been updating as much as I would like, but I will be back soon! I recently got a root canal and all four wisdom teeth out and have been not feeling much up to anything, really. Can a person be immune to pain medication? Because I feel like mine is doing nothing! An update on the shop, you may have noticed that it has been dwindeling lately. Well, items have been flying off the shelves and I have had to take many of them off my Etsy shop. I am going to […]more
Weekly Favorite – The Wonderful Wizard of OZ Graphic Novel
I haven't ever read a graphic novel. When I was younger I read a few comic books here and there as I could get a hold of them. As soon as I saw this, however, I knew I had to have it. Motivated by a coupon I went to my local book store and picked it up. It is a graphic novel put out by Marvel called The Wonderful Wizard of OZ. Eric Shanower and Skottie Young team up to put this amaizing book together. You can get it off Amazon here. If you don't buy it, at the very […]more
My Sketchbook – and my unnatural and totally irrational fear of it
I used to keep a sketchbook. I loved my sketchbook. I loved being able to pull it out at any moment to keep my hands busy or to jot down a thought I had. I kept a sketchbook for years, then I stopped. I had no really good reason for stopping. I just did. One day I got to the last page of my tattered sketchbook and it was full and that was it. Months went by and I could not bring myself to replace it. So skip to just a few months ago. I saw this lovely little book […]more
