I have a few pieces sitting on my workbench that are just waiting to be polished up and have their stones set that I thought I would share. Polishing is messy business, using various compounds to get the piece to a high shine. Because it is so messy I usually wait until I have a pile of goodies to polish before I start the undertaking. It still amazes me how ugly the metal looks before the final polishing and finishing stage.

Faux Wood Post Earrings
Added to my shop: These cute faux wood stud earrings. I currently have 3 different shapes available. They are great everyday earrings and you can wear them by themselves or in a second or third piercing. I crafted these out of fine silver clay, so the front of the earring is fine silver, and soldered on a sterling silver post. I have pretty sensitive ears and these don’t bug me a bit. Thanks for looking! .
New Puppies!
Aren’t they just the cutest things! My mom’s yorkie had three little pups last weekend and they were just too cute not to share. They are so tiny and so far take after their dad (a miniture poodle) being all black. The mom is doing a great job and barely leaves their side. Too cute!

Here Comes the Sun
I am so ready for good weather. Warm, hot sunny weather. I want to be able to trek through the mountains and smell the sweet scent of wild flowers. As you can see, we still have quite a bit of snow up in them thar hills. In fact one ski resort is going to stay open until July 4th. This year I want to spend more time up there. We are Moving!
In the next few weeks I will be moving my site from its current format to a new one. So please bear with me. My Beginnings in Enameling Copper Jewelry
I have had supplies to try enamels since December but have been a little bit chicken to try them. Well, I finally did and it was really fun.
