This is what it looked like outside my window last Friday. I am hoping that we don't get a repeat this weekend. I am so ready for spring. I have big plans this summer and I need some warmer weather to get it started. I want to plant a garden, I want to hang may hammock in my tree, I want to set up the tiki torches and patio furniture and sit with a mojito in the sun, watching the dogs chase each other around the yard. Now only if the weather will cooperate!

Welcoming 2011
Photo by Jessica LopourI am really excited for this year. I have always considered 11 to be my lucky number. My birthday is 11/11 and so is my boyfriends! It has to mean something right? Well, I am going to be optimistic and assume that this will be a good year for myself and my little business. I am not a big fan of new years resolutions, how many are forgotten within the first few months? But a new year does give the opportunity to start anew. To adjust our habits and routines and set new goals and revisit the […]more
Fall is here and Winter is not far behind!
I can see the leaves changing from my window. Fall is here, and winter is not too far behind. I am not sure I am totally prepaired for winter yet with all the slush and clouds. Although it will probably be good for me and entice me to stay inside and work on more jewelry 🙂 I also get to visit my family soon and hapily 'get outta town' for a much needed break. It is always great to visit family and I haven't gotten to see them since July. My little sister is turning 18 and this is […]more
Introducing – Moxie
So, you have seen Mr. Trouble a.k.a. Titan, and now I would like to introduce Moxie. She is a Border Collie mix. Four years ago I went to the Humane Society looking for a brand new puppy. Then I saw Moxie. She was the saddest little thing you have ever seen. She was about 6 months old and her coat was thin and stringy, she was recovering from a case of Kennel Cough, and just had the biggest puppy dog eyes you have ever seen. What can I say, I was a sucker for those eyes. So, next thing I […]more
I love the snow!
Snowy Bench Taken with my Phone Camera It took a long time for the snow to come this year. Infact, our first real snow storm didn't even come until Thanksgiving. I know it seems weird that I am so excited for snow, but if it is going to be this cold, I want some snow dang it! We are supposed to get a new storm this weekend. It has been bitter cold this week and as the sky turns grey and the first tiny flakes begin to fall, I look forward to snuggling in a blanket on my couch with […]more
Birthday Fun
Cupcake by Lori411 on EtsyHappy Birthday! Today is my boyfriends birthday, oh yeah, and mine too. (Seriously, we have the same birthday, I swear) Every year we get suspicious looks from restaurant staff as if we are trying to con them out of some free dessert or something. This year we are going to spend the evening indulging ourselves in some birthday sweets and dinner at a currently undisclosed location. So Happy Birthday Scott! If I have to share my birthday I am glad I get to share it with you 😉
Summer Colds are the WORST!
Photo by Honey and Jam Photos on EtsySeriously. I have been suffering from a hellish sinus infecting throat destroying cold that generates a constant migrane for almost three weeks! I have been drinking tea non stop and it seems to be the only thing that is helping my throat. It is so hard to be motivated when you just want to curl up in your bed and nap! With all this downtime I had time to finish the previous season of Dexter. I got to the last episode and my jaw dropped. I won't ruin it for anyone but… WTF! […]more
Oh where, oh where has my camera gone…
Fran's Thirty Five by Cameraluv on EtsyGasp! I cannot find my camera anywhere. Which is really not very good for someone who needs to photograph some new pieces. I have the camera case. It is dangling oh so lonely like on the door knob as I write this. It really misses its friend the camera, so camera, if you are reading this… please come home. The bright side of this story is that my house is cleaner than ever, but alas, still no camera.
