I have had supplies to try enamels since December but have been a little bit chicken to try them. Well, I finally did and it was really fun. I didn't try anything too fancy, just trying to get the hang of it at first. I am really excited to do more of this. Work in Progress – Waiting to be Polished
Things have been busy around here and hammers have been flying. Here is a group of jewelry I just got done adding a patina to that are waiting to be polished. Once these pieces are all cleaned up they will be ready to put in the shop.

I have to admit I have been away from my bench for a little while. Aside from a few custom pieces I haven't done much new work in a few weeks. I have been a bad metalsmith ;) So I decided to share a sneak peek of a newpiece I am working on. It is a lovely square moonstone that I picked up at a recent gem show. I will post more pictures once it has "developed" a bit more.
